Mondays, do you hate them???
Let's face it, the Monday Blues are inevitable, everyone groaning and moaning around you, unsatisfied with the super-fast weekend, their lack of sleep, or whatever other excuse they tend to find!
We all go through the same thing, excitement floods through us on Friday, and yet the weekend goes by the click of your fingers, and BAM, it's Monday again! *grumpy face*
This cycle is continuous, showing no chance of changing or stopping.
There is no way out.
Or is there…?
Your mood depends on a lot of things. It can be your environment, you may feel the need to echo your surroundings and flow as the same vibe as everyone else. It most certainly can be based on experiences, whether happy or not. But yet there is one important factor which your mood certainly depends on, the one that ties all these other aspects together…
YOURSELF!!!
The mentality that it is Monday, you automatically associate it with negative things.
So why not next Monday you start it with a smile (:
After all it is a new week, a fresh start, forget about the complications of the previous week, stop living in the past and focus on the future.
Smile, smile to your hearts content!!!
Lift the spirits of others around you, be loud, ignore others complaining that it is an early Monday morning. (I certainly have one friend who does exactly this and is loud/outgoing even before 9:00am i.e. GabriellaHope, so no prize for guessing I'm usually the moaner!!)
If you have a great start to the week, keep a positive mind-set you will probably feel a lot better. I know I may sound like a hypocrite as I label myself, hands up, as a moaner, but it can be a fresh start for me too!!!
